A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
New employee orientation is conducted monthly for newly hired staff and faculty. The Office of Sustainability provides a portion of the training, which reviews the sustainability plan, academics and research, operations, LEED buildings and energy efficiencies, resource conservation, waste minimization and recycling, and opportunities for them to engage in sustainability efforts.
