Community service achievements are included on student transcripts when students receive academic credit for the volunteering. This occurs when the class hosts the volunteering opportunity.

Individual departments also recognize faculty that participate in community service. Employee evaluations also contain community service components. Departments and the school support faculty teaching courses involving service by providing and covering the expenses.
