A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Sustainability is addressed in new employee orientation by talking about our sustainable policy and goals. We introduce our emissions goal and reduction plan. The actions taken to reach this goal such as sustainable buildings, waste policies, and campus initiatives are explained. Then it is explained how the new employees can contribute personally to the college's sustainable morals both environmentally and socially. These trainings are conducted by Zilkha Center staff in partnership with the Human Resources Office.
