A brief description of steps taken to ensure that e-waste is recycled responsibly, workers’ basic safety is protected, and environmental standards are met:
Williams works with Electronics Recyclers International, Inc. for all of our electronics recycling. They are a founding member of e-Stewards, a third-party non-profit certification organization whose standards cover the environment, social, and health impacts of electronics recycling.

A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:
The Office of Information Technology collects computers for recycling as part of their regular replacement of faculty and staff computers, as well as servers and lab computers. In addition, Williams runs a "Green Up" event at the end of the spring semester where students, faculty, and staff can bring their unwanted electronics to the college for recycling.

A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :
Williams runs a "Green Up" event at the end of the spring semester where students can bring their unwanted electronics to the college for recycling. In addition, Williams collects electronics for recycling at our move-out donation drive. While students can call the Facilities department for computer recycling during the academic year, we find that few take advantage of that, and most student electronics are collected at the end of the year.
