A brief description of the metering system:
Williams has real-time electricity metering for nearly all campus buildings. All buildings connected to the central heating plant have real-time steam metering as well. Buildings not on the central heating plant have monthly metering of their non-electricity energy use (natural gas and fuel oil). We're currently working on installing metering of chilled water from our central chiller.
