A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
Wilfrid Laurier University operates an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which provides employees with free of charge access to up to 8 sessions a year. This program is offered in partnership with the Mosaic Counseling & Family Services program in an effort to provide people with the strength, skills and confidence to deal with life’s challenges and opportunities. The service is available through a variety of mediums, either telephone, drop-in or web seminars. The drop-in areas are not specific to a given branch. Employees have access to the program in facilities closer to their home (Toronto, Mississauga, Milton, Guelph, Cambridge and Brantford).
