Does the institution limit free printing for students in all computer labs and libraries?:
Yes
None
A brief description of how printing is limited:
There is no free printing for students at Laurier. All students must pay for their printing services on campus. There are currently two operators of student accessible computer labs on campus. Laurier's ITS department operates and manages the majority of all computer facilities on-campus. Most labs consist of a laser printer which students access using the on-campus OneCard service for $0.10 a page. Colour services are available for $1.00 a page. The other operator is a student run enterprise known as Prism which conducts various training workshops and technology services for paying members within the School of Business and Economics. They currently provide their printing services at a 20% reduced fare. Black and white printing is available for $0.08 a page and colour printing for $0.64 a page.
