A brief description of the program:
All full-time students are offered reduced bus transit passes via the Universal Pass (U-Pass) program.
Waterloo Campus:
The pass covers an entire 12 months and there is no additional replacement card fee on top of the $20.00 charge for a new OneCard. Each student is charged an administration fee of $0.50 for the service.The 5-year contract with Grand River Transit increases fares corresponding to annual inflation as measured by Ontario All Items CPI measurements. The fee for the 2009-2010 was $101.84.
Brantford Campus:
The Students' Union in Brantford currently requires all full-time undergraduate students to pay $41.52 per term during the Fall and Winter terms to provide them with unlimited access to Brantford Transit for the duration of the term.
