A brief description of the technology used:
Waterloo Campus:
The majority of outside lighting is controlled by a building automation system. The lights are controlled based on the output from an outdoor light sensor located on the roof of the Science Building. This sensor ensures that outdoor lighting is only turned on when required based on outdoor lighting conditions.
Brantford Campus:
The Recreation Centre of the Wilkes House Gym uses motion light sensors in the change rooms and downstairs hallway.
