The WLU Kayak Association (WLUKA) is one of many student clubs offered on the Waterloo Campus by the Student Union. WLUKA prepares people to paddle in white water by teaching basic kayaking skills in a fun and safe enviorment with the purpose of eventually bringing members to rivers so they can paddle white water. WLUKA runs whitewater preparation courses in the Laurier pool throughout the year and during the summer, leads canoe and kayak trips down the Gull River, the Ottawa Fiver and Elora Gorge.
