The Graduate Students Association organizes 'Green Month', a month dedicated to events that raise awareness about the environment. The target audience is graduate students but faculty, staff and undergraduates are welcome. The program featured: a weekly documentary screening including Who Killed the Electric Car, 11th Hour and Manufactured Landscapes; facilitated talks and discussion groups with guests from the community and professors from Laurier; a "Green Night" at the Grad Lounge featuring sustainability-themed student and local groups; and the circulation of an e-newsletter that contained several tips for green living.
