A brief description of the garden:
Students are able to gain organic gardening experience at the Northdale plot, located behind Laurier's Mobility Disorder and Research Centre on Hickory Street. The Northdale plot is managed by KW Urban Harvesters, an initiative that strives to transform urban green spaces into anything sustainably edible. The garden at Northdale is all organic, with all seeds coming from organic seed providers. The planting style is either permaculture and/or based off of the Biointensive method of planting. Anyone from the community is welcome to garden.
