ARMINDA (Accessible Research Materials in Digital Archives) is a repository maintained by Penrose Library that showcases works by the Whitman College community. The mission of ARMINDA is to collect and preserve scholarly and creative works by Whitman College faculty, students, and staff with preference given to materials that can be made openly accessible. These include student honors theses and a selection of other student works as well as faculty scholarship. ARMINDA collections also preserve digital/digitized holdings of the Whitman College and Northwest Archives and other digital collections from college sources.

Whitman College is a member of the consortium of liberal arts colleges that supports Lever Press, a peer-reviewed, open access press that charges no fees to either authors or their institutions as it publishes media-rich digital and print monographs in the humanities. https://www.leverpress.org/ (Lever Press publishes monographs and not journals, so it does not qualify as an open access journal hosting service.)
