Does the institution have an ongoing program or programs that offer incentives for faculty in multiple disciplines or departments to develop new sustainability courses and/or incorporate sustainability into existing courses?:
A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years (e.g. descriptions of new courses or course content resulting from the program):
Learning Community of faculty interested in developing sustainability content for their courses. This began in 2016 with 16 faculty. Newly developed sustainability content is posted on a web site for Curriculum for the Bioregion hosted by Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
Full-time faculty earn a $1000 salary increase for completing the four workshops and becoming part of the Learning Community.
Adjunct faculty earn hourly pay for attending the workshops for eight hours.
