The Purple Basket addresses the impact of hunger and nutrition insecurity and disparities in access to basic needs through a dignified and destigmatized approach to reducing hunger and increasing resources for all presentations of food insecurity—whether it be a skipped meal or a week of groceries. Students can access sustainable and ethically sourced foods as well as hygiene and basic household items through The Purple Basket.
