While there is no formal policy, Westminster College's maintanence staff adheres to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for pest management. They have determined Westminster's thresholds, monitor the grounds, and only use pesticides and herbicides as a last resort. Craig McLean, head landscaper, holds a certificate in IPM.
