A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:

At freshmen orientation recycling bins are distributed, UTA passes are given, and reusable water bottles are given.
At the Get to Know Your Community event, there are several tables displaying sustainability at Westminster.
The Environmental Center Director meets with all commuter students to talk about sustainable transportation options.
There are service trips during orientation that include creek restoration, community gardening, invastive species removal, and helping at the local bicycle collective.
In packets that students recieve before orientation there are handouts that include what Westminster is doing about climate change and the Griffen Green Living Pledge.
