A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
There is currently no centralized institutional process to incorporate alternative fuel or other technologies into its campus fleet. A campus committee has been chartered to deliver, among other things, recommendations for the campus to make progress as a whole. Separately, Facilities Management has begun to implement steps to integrate electric vehicles into its fleet, and is currently meeting the state governor’s mandate to make a minimum of 20% of all FM vehicle purchases electric.
