A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

The main campus located in Bellingham, WA is 137 acres and is the sole focus of this report. Shannon Point Marine Research Center is another campus of 78 acres located in Anacortes, however it's autonomous with regards to facilities management and not included in the report. Western also provides classes at several satellite campuses but the facilities are owned by the partnering colleges, not our University

Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? Included?
Agricultural school No No
Medical school No No
Other professional school with labs and clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) No No
Satellite campus Yes No
Farm larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares No No
Agricultural experiment station larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares No No
Hospital No No

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:

All satellite campuses are autonomous in their operations and facilities management, our institutional policies do not pertain to those campuses.
