Western's Sustainability Manager is co-chair of the Washington Higher Education Sustainability Coalition. This position was the lead organizer for WAHESC's 2014 conference and is on the planning team for WAHESC's 2017 conference.

Western has worked with regional universities on several projects, including with the University of Washington on creating new wind capacity for within each of our respective utilities. As well, Western has partnered with several other universities on planning for the Washington higher Education Sustainability Conference for 2017.
