All full-time and regular part-time employees are given the opportunity to take the Gallup Q12 survey. The Gallup Q12 survey uses a series of 12 questions to measure engagement that their research has shown to correlate with employee engagement. We have been using this survey annually since 2017.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:
Results of the survey are shared with leadership and supervisors to inform them of the level of engagement within their departments. They are also given recommendations and tools on how to discuss the results with their department and tips for promoting employee satisfaction and engagement.
