Western deploys several tools. Our main tool is an equity report compiled by our equity and inclusion office. This is also in conjunction with state requirements to compile an equity report.
Additionally, Western tracks key results within our strategic plan to provide us with data on achievement gaps within graduation, course completion and retention.

Our data suggest that there are equity gaps within student outcomes. As a result, we are conducting a equity audit of all college policies to identify potential unintended barriers to our underserved populations.

Shared via leadership forum meetings and townhall meetings open to the entire campus community. We also incorporate this data into our "data summits" which is part of our ongoing continuous improvement process.
