IN 2018 Western was recognized as a leader college within the Achieving the Dream
Network.
Achieving the Dream works with hundreds of community colleges to help develop a bolder vision for student success, particularly one that authentically centers equity—especially racial equity—in institutional redesign work. As a leader college, we've demonstrated tangible evidence that we've made increased and sustained improvements in supporting students of color and students in poverty.
