A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
New employee orientation occurs 3-4 times/year. The on-boarding program is a full day of programming led by Western's HR manager. Within this programming, Western's Sustainability Coordinator is scheduled for 20 minutes to address new employees as a group about Western's sustainability journey, current initiatives, and goals. New employees are also provided with Western's most recent sustainability literature.
