Western retains RECs for 50kWh fixed PV array at our Integrated Technology Center, 4.5 kWh solar tracking system at a site in Black River Falls, a 16kWh tracking PV system in Independence, and a 75 kWh at our Automotive Center.

Western's ITC provides the majority of the heating and cooling through the geothermal system. ITC and the Truck and Heavy Equipment facility also have passive solar walls that preheats outdoor air before entering the building.
