Sustainability Forum: Sharing ideas, determining actions- In this Partnership Western Technical College collaborates with the 7 Rivers Alliance, Fifth Season Cooperative, Food Resource Agribusiness Network, La Crosse Disposal System, MRRPC, SHE, and the Wisconsin Food Network. This partnership connects the community in providing a forum which the community can discussion issues on all three levels of the triple bottom line. These community leader then are able to follow through with the identified issues, providing financial as well as labor support. Key stakeholders in the community work alongside of each project and engaged in solving the systematic sustainability changes set for the community.

Sustainability Institute- Western Technical College is partnered with Gunderson Health Systems, The City of La Crosse, and Organic Valley. The Sustainability Institute is housed at Western Technical College but serves the 7 Rivers Region. We provide a forum to raise all efforts by aligning with local partnerships and resources to enhance offerings. Our hopes are to grow and cultivate sustainability in our region by hosting conversations and conferences to move sustainability forward in our region.
