Western has prepared and shared a few Power Point presentations with other local colleges, but mostly the collaboration involves Western's liason to attend meetings at other schools and give input on Western's behalf.

Western is involved in the La Crosse Earth Week Coalition, UW-La Crosse's Joint Environmental Council on Sustainability, the City and County of La Crosse's Sustainable La Crosse Commission, AASHE, ACPUCC.
A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :
Western Technical College teamed with Viterbo University and University of Wisconsin- La Crosse to screen the documentary Switch. This documentary was screened to help build a baseline understanding of energy for students. Students then can understand of energy conservation will be transformed from polarized to practical.
