Undergraduate students serve on the elected Student Government Association, and they are invited to serve on diverse committees, from hiring committees, to infrastructure, to curriculum development. The SGA president attends the Board of Trustees meetings and VP for External Affairs attends City Council meetings. The SGA also has a sustainability ambassador. Our graduate programs are new and do not currently have formal ways for students to participate

No

Do the institution’s non-supervisory staff members have an elected representative on the institution’s highest governing body?:
No

A brief description of the bodies and mechanisms through which staff are engaged in governance, including information to support each affirmative response above:
Anyone can attend non-executive session Faculty Senate and Board of Trustees meetings, as well as mid-managers liaison council. We can all also participate through various representatives.

Yes

Do the institution’s teaching and research faculty have an elected representative on the institution’s highest governing body? :
Yes

Voted Faculty Trustee (on Board of Trustees) and avenues mentioned above, including seats on Strategic Planning, Faculty Senate, Curriculum Committee, IT, Academic Policies, and so on.

Student member of the City Council, One Valley Leadership Council, (valley wide long range planning commission apt by county commissioners) Tourism and Prosperity Partnership, (previously tourism association/now run the ICELab). Also, the Gunnison Valley Community Foundation (like our foundation but for the community), Keystone Group (5 major employers in the valley for SP).
