A brief description of the policies and/or guidelines to improve outdoor air quality and minimize air pollutant emissions from mobile sources:
State Fleet Management has a vehicle anti-idling policy that limits unnecessary idling in all state-owned vehicles. Western's vehicle fleet would fall under this category and idling is limited to 1 minute. Our Colorado Greening Government initiative requires that state government reduce average petroleum consumption per vehicle by 4% annually.
