Western is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer. The affirmative action officer is responsible for the affirmative action plan and for charging every search committee for faculty positions for affirmative action/diversity recruiting purposes. Outreach and advertising targeted to increase diversity are conducted for every faculty search.
