Aramark Corp recognizes AASHE standards in it's efforts to source sustainable food items. Aramark at WKU sources many third party certified products, such as cage-free eggs and Fair Trade coffee. Additionally, Aramark WKU sources directly from local farmers, including our campus farm, and requests local sourcing through larger vendors. Under their contract, beginning July 2017, sustainable food sourcing goals were established. We have purchased from local farmers such as ATP Greenhouses and several farmers through Piazza Produce.
