A 5.5 KW photovotaic system was installed on the WKU Office of Sustainability in Fall 2014.
The solar panel generated 1.456 MWh of energy from July 2022 to March 2023. In April 2023, the solar panel was removed due to its lifespan being complete, and due to the need to replace the Office of Sustianability's roof. WKU plans to reinstall a new panel when the project is completed.
