WKU is a Food Recovery verified institution. End of day food resources are collected from 4 dining locations on campus each day and distributed through the WKU Food Pantry or distributed to seven partner organizations in the Bowling Green community. In less than a year, they recovered 1,800 lbs of food.

Three of our dining locations are Green Dining Certified at 2 stars or above through the Green Restaurant Association. Eligible products on campus must meet Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade Alliance requirements (all coffee, for example).
