A Graduate Research Assistant studying sustainability examined the online course catalog, reading through course descriptions and course syllabi to determine whether courses were related to sustainability, intentionally focused on sustainability, or unrelated to sustainability.

Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections

Course sections were not counted separately. Labs were counted separately if they had a different course number. Similarly, courses with a "G," or "Graduate" component were counted as a separate course, as they were counted separately in "Total Courses Offered," as well.
