A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:
An employee satisfaction survey is distributed to every WKU staff and faculty employee, annually, since 2007. The intent of the surveys are to measure feelings regarding specific facets of the job, as well as overall job satisfaction and workplace morale. The faculty survey also collects feedback administrators of the University. The survey is distributed digitally via email, with multiple emails sent to encourage participation in the survey by all members of the university faculty/staff team. The results are synthesized and reported back to all faculty and staff.
