A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
Campus-wide survey conducted by Parking and Transportation Services in November 2019. This was sent to all faculty, staff and students on campus. A total of 667 students (237 campus residents; 349 commuters) and 513 employees completed the survey. One question on the survey asked for commute mode.

There is a significant amount of new, or under construction, off-campus apartments adjacent to campus. University buses serve most locations and we have seen a significant decrease in the number of Commuting students driving to campus daily.
