The Gender Research Centre fosters the development of an inclusive and transformational university culture where individual distinctiveness and a sense of belonging for every member drive excellence in research, teaching, learning and working at WCU. Such a culture facilitates cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaboration, local and global engagement, as well as an environment of innovative intellectual inquiry where all can fulfill their potential. Our commitment strengthens connections and cohesion within and across university communities and promotes inclusive leadership capacity-building throughout the institution.

Carry out educational activities to ensure a safe and comprehensive work, teaching and learning environment, and to ensure that employees and students know their rights and responsibilities;
To create opportunities to resolve employee and student complaints fairly, timely and confidentially;
To keep the information of the commission protecting the rights of the complainants confidential;
Protect the rights and responsibilities of employees within the law.
