The Sustainability Coordinator hosts numerous training sessions for the Facilities Management leadership team to integrate sustainability knowledge and skills into the workplace.

Western Caspian University includes travel and professional development funds per department. For sustainability, funds are allocated to allow the Sustainability Coordinator to attend the different meetings every year. In addition, Western Caspian University funded 3 Facilities Management Staff members to participate in the Advisor, which provides a comprehensive curriculum about zero waste policies and programs.
