Sustainability-related student organizations include:
Students for Sustainable Action: The purpose of Eco Club is to encourage all students to participate in campus-wide sustainability efforts by providing a student-centered environment for discussion and collaboration. By bringing different student organizations together to collaborate, divide, and conquer on projects, we can achieve the common goal of advancing sustainability at WCU.
Tourism Club-The Tourism Club serves as a social vehicle for students interested in travel & tourism. Our Club provides a solid foundation for students to connect with their environment. The Club is open to all WCU students.

The forum will focus on the role of universities in achieving the goal of Quality Education, one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in quality education, and explore the following objectives:

- Commitment of universities to improve access to education

- Creation of inclusive education models

- To acquire lifelong learning habits

- A new period for short-term courses and certificates

- Will education be based on experience in the future?

- The role of partnership in achieving the goal of quality education.

Western Caspian University has been elected a member of the Romualdo Del Bianco® Foundation and the Life Beyond Tourism Movement.

The movement is spearheaded by the Romualdo Del Bianco® Foundation to promote intercultural dialogue using tangible and intangible cultural heritage and the recognition of cultural diversity.

It should be noted that the network has more than 12,000 members in 147 countries.

University offers " Specialization Courses" for those who want to learn new knowledge and skills, achieve career development and specialize in various fields through qualitative education. Our courses are intended for people of different ages and educational levels. The courses will be conducted by professional instructor in the field. Courses will be taught online or in-class, depending on the curriculum. Students who successfully complete the course are awarded with certificate by the Western Caspian University.

A brief description of the sustainability-focused student employment opportunities offered by the institution:

Plans to implement a sustainability-themed living - learning community on a floor of Guba, one of WCU's Human Development Institutes Conference Room, were on track to be implemented in the Fall of 2020, but were postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown of campus that extended through the summer of 2022. Though the community has not been established as planned in Academic Year 2022-23, Dining and Resident Services hopes to initiate the program in the Fall of 2022.
