Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

The total gross square footage includes buildings within our institutional boundary that are more than 1,000 gsf. We chose not to report anything under 1,000 gsf in order to remain consistent in our calculations from other sections of the STARS report.

The 'Other' category for energy intensive space was compiled from a report of Postsecondary Education Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual codes 630, 635, 660, 665, 710, and 715. After pulling the report, we queried a group of information technology directors for each college and the Health Sciences Center for other energy intensive spaces in their purview. We cross references their answers with the code report and added any square footage that was absent.
