West Chester University's Sustainable Design Guiding Principles (URL below) encourages "sustainable waste management on all projects" and the salvage and/or recycling of as much non-hazardous demolition and construction waste as possible. The university encourages contractors to meet a target of 75% salvage / recycling (by weight).
