Starting this 2021-22 academic year, West Chester University is partnering with DVRPC and TMACC to offer the rideshare commuting platform, Share-A-Ride to the campus community.
The campus has 4 shuttle routes, two of which support shared-modes of commuting: the Uptown Loop connects north campus to major apartment and condominium complexes and employment and retail centers (such as the Chester County Hospital and the Bradford Plaza Shopping Center) in West Chester Borough and the Exton Shuttle links campus to SEPTA Regional Rail and Amtrak train service (https://www.wcupa.edu/_information/AFA/Facilities/shuttleBus/servicesSchedules.aspx).
WCU has nineteen centrally located rideshare parking spaces reserved for two or more people who share the ride (https://www.wcupa.edu/transportation/commuterChoices.aspx#:~:text=RideShare%20Parking%20Spaces,-For%20Students%20and&text=B%20Lot%20for%20Employees%2C%20south,Roslyn%20Avenue%20near%20Rosedale%20Avenue).
