West Chester University initiated a bikeshare program in August of 2016 with a contract with Zagster for 15 bikeshare bicycles and three docking stations located on North Campus, South Campus, and East Campus. See http://bike.zagster.com/wcupa/ for more information. Current contract valid through August 2020.

West Chester University initiated, in the Spring of 2019, a new free shuttle route for WCU students and employees. The Uptown Loop connects north campus to major apartment and condominium complexes and employment and retail centers (such as the Chester County Hospital and the Bradford Plaza Shopping Center) in West Chester Borough. WCU also has designated 17 preferred parking spots on campus for Rideshare Parking (two or more parking permits must be displayed, confirming that staff and / or students have carpooled). And WCU contracts with RideAmigos to offer commute management opportunities to employees and students, facilitating the creation of carpools and informing our community of shared and non-motorized modes of transportation.
