West Chester University is a public higher education institution as a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education and thus remains neutral regarding taking and/or acting from a partisan political position. WCU has widely publicized its Climate Action Plan carbon neutrality goals and collaborates with elected officials at the local, county, regional and state levels to support initiatives that strengthen opportunities for achieving them.
