A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
The Office of Sustainability participates in new student orientation events for first year students, transfer students, and graduate students by a) attending morning meet and greets where new students and their family members are present and b) afternoon tabling events where conversations and Q & A about sustainability initiatives on campus are highlighted. While we believe these are important contributions to new student orientation events, we do not want to claim that the meet the AASHE STARS criterion of "prominent," as our orientation events feature participation by many other offices and services of the university.
