Dining (Bon Appetit): All Bon Appetit employees earn a living wage; the average wage is $30.25/hr.
Bookstore (RJ Julia): The lowest paid employees (8 positions) earn $14.00/hr. Two employees earn a living wage.

Wesleyan's Employment Code for Service Contractors (which applies to third party contractors as well as regular employees and temps) stipulates a total compensation standard of $15.39/hr. as of September 2018. Contract employees scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate as full-time employees in a health insurance plan that includes cost-sharing. Full-time employees are eligible for 5 vacation days after 1 year of continuous employment. Employees are permitted to participate in ESL courses at Wesleyan and to enroll their children in Neighborhood Preschool as employees.
