Key elements of SMG’s green cleaning program include;
Utilizing Green Seal certified chemicals (GS-42 compliant) with an RTD dispensing system.
Utilizing CRI Green Label certified and low decibel equipment.
Incorporating micro-fiber cloths and HEPA filtration for the improvement of IAQ.
Providing annual green cleaning training of procedures and practices for employees
Ensuring effective communication between SMG and Wesleyan facility directors in establishing green goals and initiatives
The cleaning program at Wesleyan was audited by ISSA as part of SMG’s CIMS-GB certification evaluation. SMG participates in the certification process every two years. SMG has maintained a CIMS-GB certification with honors since 2011.
