A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:

Wesleyan offers several courses and immersive programs that have included multidimensional examinations of sustainability. Over the past three years, these courses have included:
- a food course in which students discussed the "radical food" movement which challenges the capitalist agriculture system (2021).
- chemistry lab focused around the 12 principles of Green Chemistry (2020).
- Ecopoetics course in which students wrote in service of an environmental topic for the semester (2020).
- Forklift Danceworks encouraged collective stewardship of campus spaces through a community-based dance-making process (2021)
- service learning course in which students designed and produced a variety of educational science materials to be used in a fifth grade classroom in Madagascar (2020)

The number of offerings per academic year are shown below.
AY 21-22: 55 courses
AY 20-21: 39 courses
AY 19-20: 36 courses

Not included in these totals are the annually recurring student-run forums focusing on food justice, permaculture, farming, food sustainability, and fostering sustainable behaviors that count for Wesleyan credit and towards the linked-major or certificate in Environmental Studies:
