Sustainability Director Jennifer Kleindienst organized the regional Northeast Campus Sustainability Consortium conference at Wesleyan in May 2018 and served on the committee for the 2019 conference in Portland, Maine.

Wesleyan collaborates with Middlesex Community College on sustainability reporting and program development. In 2018, Middlesex CC, Wesleyan, the City of Middletown, and Middlesex Hospital collaborated to develop new citywide recycling and trash signage.
