Wesleyan University will need to eliminate approximately 700-1000 MTCO2e annually for the next 40 years to reach its goal of carbon neutrality. Wesleyan's Sustainability Advisory Group (SAGES) has set goals to reduce Wesleyan's carbon footprint in the areas of education, waste, transportation, energy, water, buildings, and grounds.
